Setup used to put pressure on the piston. I made a fatal mistake of using an impact wrench on the jack bolt.

Oops, that can't be good! It took 6 tons of force to remove the piston from the cylinder. I had penetrating oil in the cylinder for more than 6 years. The rust was that bad that the oil never went past the top of the piston.
